Welcome to the Helmholtz Fund E. V.

Jointly setting standards

Precise, reliable measurements improve the quality of life, support innovation and strengthen economic power. There are good reasons for the Helmholtz Fund having completely committed itself to metrology at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt. We promote dialogue between scientists and economists, and with prizes and other incentives, we motivate them to perform at their best in the field of metrology. Our commitment has a long history: The Fund was established in 1912.

I am a member of the
Helmholtz Fund e. V. ,

because the scientific dialogue we have here is the measure of all things.

There are many good reasons for becoming a member. Here you can find out about the benefits of membership and about why others decided to get involved in the Helmholtz Fund.
